Ongoing efforts are continuing to restore power supply to Port Lincoln and surrounding areas.

Partial supply was achieved late this morning, using back-up generation, but ongoing issues are being experienced.

It remains our priority to fix storm damage which was identified on the Eyre Peninsula transmission line near Tumby Bay and fully restore supply to the Peninsula from the network, as soon as possible.

Early indications are that this work may be able to be completed today, however, access to the site is difficult because of the sodden ground.

Repair crews will continue to work until this fault is repaired and elsewhere in the network, until power supply has been stabilised.

SA Police and State Emergency Services are working hard in the field to ensure public safety. Anyone who sees damaged powerlines or fallen infrastructure should stay well clear and report them to ElectraNet on 08 8404 7966.

Additional information on the wider storm recovery effort is available from the South Australian disaster recovery line on 1800 302 787.

Further updates will be provided as they become available.
