Project EnergyConnect (PEC) is moving at a rapid pace! 330kV transmission towers along Wentworth-Renmark Road have been assembled by our contractor, Downer, and will soon commence activities for the draw wires and conductors to be rolled out and connected.

330kV tower foundations, assembly and erection activities are still continuing westward along the route to Bundey Substation, which is currently under construction by Consolidated Power Projects Australia Pty Ltd.

Once complete, PEC will provide another connection from South Australia to the National Electricity Market, allowing further energy export opportunities and strengthen our state’s position as leaders in the clean energy transition.
