After two years of construction and over five years of planning, we are delighted to announce that Eyre Peninsula Link (EP Link) has now been fully energised, following the first stage of energisation in January. A huge round of thanks to our dedicated stakeholders involved in achieving this significant outcome.

The new 270km double circuit high voltage line is now providing a reliable and future-proof power supply for homes and businesses on the Eyre Peninsula. It will also support growth in the region and unlock further renewable energy connection opportunities.

Thank you to the Barngarla Determination Aboriginal Corporation (BDAC) for the significant contribution it has made to the project and its steadfast support in the important role of protection of cultural heritage in the field. BDAC has been a major contributor to the success of the project.

The final stage of the project will involve removing the old transmission line and is due to be completed by the end of 2023.
