Exciting times ahead for our customer, Amp Energy, who are moving South Australia a step closer towards its renewables target!
Amp Energy reached a critical milestone with ElectraNet this month, signing a Transmission Connection Agreement (TCA) with us on their Bungama Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
Amp’s 150MW / 300MWhr battery is just the first phase in what will be a larger BESS and Solar PV installation at the site, and part of their $2 billion strategic renewable asset portfolio across South Australia.
The battery is expected to be energised in early 2025 and create up to 70 construction jobs.
We look forward to continuing this important relationship with Amp Energy, ensuring they remain connected to the high voltage network as we energise South Australia’s clean energy future together!
