Landholder liaison and stakeholder engagement
Electricity transmission assets have a long life span, so ElectraNet consults with stakeholders in the community to ensure we take concerns and feedback about projects into consideration when planning for one. The investment made in community engagement at the start of a project is crucial to maintaining positive and productive relationships over the asset’s long life cycle.
We have developed an extensive management system that is scalable, tried and tested across our high-voltage and telecommunications network. This system integrates user and functional requirement definition, engineering authority, detail requirements management, verification, testing acceptance, and validation for engineering service delivery. We also use a strong base structure to standardise design and provide consistency in delivery outcomes.

ElectraNet specialises in high-voltage substations, underground cable systems, and overhead lines.
We have the experience and skills needed for detailed engineering and design, cost estimation, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
