Project Overview
This project is planned to upgrade the Tailem Bend substation layout to maintain the quality, reliability and security of supply of prescribed electricity transmission services, and to reduce the risk of constraining the SA-Victoria Interconnector.
The scope of work includes expanding the substation layout, and installing additional and replacement circuit breakers, associated switchgear and protection works. The project will also replace selected items of primary plant that are in poor condition.
