Project Overview
This development will create a training centre at Cherry Gardens substation to give high voltage switching operators exposure to the full range of equipment and switching programs required for their work.
High voltage switching operator training and assessment are critical aspects of network management. Existing training is limited by the amount of equipment that can be switched without adversely affecting transmission network security and performance.
