Kym was appointed as Executive, Board and Shareholder Relations in October 2022, and was also appointed as ElectraNet’s Company Secretary in November 2022.
Kym supports the Chief Executive and ElectraNet’s Board on key strategic matters including business planning, major projects and initiatives, organisational development compliance and risk strategies, and corporate governance requirements, activities and practices. She has responsibility for the delivery of ElectraNet’s insurance requirements and management, and placement of the insurance program.
Kym joined ElectraNet in June 2018. Prior to that, she practised as a lawyer for more than 20 years in insurance and corporate risk. Her formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts/ International Relations from Flinders University. She is a Graduate of the AICD, is the immediate past President of the Women Lawyers’ Association of South Australia and sits on the Architectural Practice Board of SA.
