Fostering strong relationships with the community is vital to ElectraNet

ElectraNet supports a variety of community initiatives that embrace and promote our company’s purpose, including programs for:

  • environmental protection and sustainability
  • consumer education and support
  • cultural heritage protection and awareness
  • health, safety and well-being
  • innovation, research and development.

ElectraNet proudly supports the communities in which we operate and South Australian charitable organisations

This support includes, but is not limited to:

Zoos SA is a not-for-profit conservation charity that exists to save species from extinction and connect people with nature. We are proud to be a Corporate Partner of the new Asian Elephant exhibit at Monarto Safari Park.

ElectraNet is pleased to support the CFS Foundation which serves to provide financial assistance to CFS volunteer firefighters and their families who have suffered through death, injury, loss or damage of property while in the line of service.

ElectraNet has worked with Foodbank SA to provide a Mobile Food Hub which is able to operate as a stand-alone distribution centre in areas where Foodbank SA does not have a permanent presence, and has already made a huge difference to Foodbank clients where the need for food relief is great but where a permanent solution either isn’t viable or just doesn’t exist.

The SES South Australian Volunteers’ Association promotes the needs and addresses issues for volunteers, while working in conjunction with the State Emergency Service in promoting a united front on SES issues. ElectraNet provides support to the Association through small equipment grants for its volunteers.

Our partnership with Trees for Life ensures that our more than 9,000 landholders have the opportunity to receive a subsidy off the cost of trees, tree guards and stakes from Trees for Life, matching our strong commitment to protecting the environment in which we operate.

AnglicareSA’s Emergency Assistance responds to the practical needs of anyone in crisis or experiencing hardship and provides referral to other specialist services.

Bio·R is a grassroots charity that generates funds, knowledge and practical skills to reconstruct habitats to support native wildlife in degraded landscapes.

Catherine House offers crisis, longer-term accommodation and support services for women experiencing homelessness in South Australia.

Through a recovery-oriented focus, women are offered a safe, supportive environment with opportunities to achieve improved personal and economic wellbeing.
