Project Overview
This project is required to replace radio telecommunications links in the Mid North region, servicing Robertstown substation and the surrounding transmission network.
The existing radio sites are in poor condition, and optical fibre ground wire (OPGW) will be deployed to replace them as it has lower overall costs and greater reliability.
Project contract preparation is currently in progress.
