Project Overview
This project will replace all porcelain insulators line hardware and some stobie poles and cross arms that are in poor condition along the Brinkworth to Mintaro 132 kV transmission line, to ensure its ongoing safe operation and to extend the technical life of the transmission line
All of the insulators on the Brinkworth to Mintaro 132 kV transmission line will be replaced at the same time, to minimise the risks associated with failure of the existing porcelain insulators that are in poor condition, and to provide a consistent age profile for all insulators on the line. In addition, stobie poles and cross-arms will be replaced where required.
