Claus is an experienced strategic leader with a passion for contributing to organisational growth and transformation to create a diverse range of stakeholder benefits.
In his current role Claus is responsible for ElectraNet’s Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Customer Connections Corporate Affairs and Regulation functions. He leads ElectraNet’s engagement with external stakeholders to enable the South Australian Transmission Network deliver our vision of ‘Energising South Australia’s Clean Energy Future’.
Claus joined ElectraNet in 2020 as Head of Finance to lead the transformation of the Finance function. Prior to joining ElectraNet in 2020, Claus had an extensive corporate career in a diverse range industries and roles spanning international trading, financial markets, portfolio management, finance as well as corporate transformation and strategy. Claus holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ).
