Businesses across the Eyre Peninsula are being encouraged to register their interest to attend Local Industry Briefings for Eyre Peninsula Link.

The Local Industry Briefings will be hosted by ElectraNet and the project’s early works contractor, Downer Utilities Australia.

Suppliers, subcontractors, service providers, social enterprise and/or Aboriginal businesses are encouraged to attend the briefings to learn more about the tendering process, work packages and how they can get involved. They will also allow local businesses to share their capabilities and capacity with the project team and have any questions answered.

At the conclusion of the briefings, businesses can register their interest to support the project’s delivery and this information will be provided to the successful project contractor once they have been engaged.

The Local Industry Briefings will be held at Whyalla on Monday, August 17 and Port Lincoln on Wednesday, August 19.

The Whyalla briefings will be held at 3pm and 5.30pm at the Whyalla Golf & Bowling Club and the Port Lincoln briefings will be held at the Port Lincoln Hotel at 3pm and 5.30pm.
