The switching of High Voltage assets is a wide-spread daily activity within ElectraNet. ElectraNet priorities in relation to switching are:

3. Continuity of supply
ElectraNet's Switching Manual is available to all persons who are licensed ElectraNet Switching Operators. The rules in the manual are designed to maintain a safe working environment for ElectraNet Switching Operators and those people who could be affected by the switching of the ElectraNet Transmission System as required by the (SA Industry) Switching Manual and the Electricity Act (SA) 1996.
