South Australian Annual Planning Report 2010
ElectraNet prepares an Annual Planning Report which provides information to market participants and other interested parties on South Australian peak demand projections; network capabilities; emerging limitations or constraints on the transmission network; information on completed, committed and planned network augmentations; and other proposed network developments over the next 20 years. This information allows the market to identify generation investment opportunities and potential demand management solutions, and allows ElectraNet to implement appropriate solutions to emerging network limitations or constraints.
The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) provides a companion report on the energy supply and demand outlook for South Australia (at the request of the South Australian jurisdiction).
On 16 June 2010, ElectraNet and AEMO held a public forum to brief market participants and other interested parties in relation to the SA Annual Planning Report (APR) and the SA Supply and Demand Outlook (SASDO).
