ElectraNet’s Network 2035 Vision is a collaborative document that sets out a framework for the development and operation of South Australia's electricity transmission network over the next twenty-five years.
It forms the basis of an ongoing partnering relationship between our company and our broad range of stakeholders – for planning the reliable and safe delivery of electricity transmission services to meet the current and future needs of all South Australians.
The Network 2035 Vision Consultation Paper has been prepared to inform and seek input from our stakeholders on the challenges, objectives and principles we have identified for the long-term development and operation of South Australia's electricity transmission network.
It recognises that we operate in an increasingly dynamic and changing environment as the demand for cleaner and greener electricity grows, resource-driven demand growth increases, technology changes impact on electricity production and supply, and regulatory and market reforms continue.
All feedback will be considered in finalising the Network 2035 Vision - which will inform ElectraNet's proposals for the next regulatory revenue setting process due to commence in 2012.
Written comments should be submitted to Simon Appleby Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs by 31 October 2011.
