•   Standing Council on Energy and Resources

...responsible for pursuing a strategic national agenda across the energy and resources sectors 

•   Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC)

...responsible for maintaining and developing the
National Electricity Rules

•   Australian Energy Regulator (AER)

...responsible for economic regulation and enforcement

•   Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO)

...responsible for the operation of the NEM.
