Graduate Program Highlights

ElectraNet’s Graduate Program is a celebrated success story – according to our previous graduates who have gone on to secure challenging and fulfilling permanent roles within the business – and also our current graduates who are still reaping the rewards.

The Program offers a host of fantastic career opportunities; and it continues to evolve and grow, under the guidance of ElectraNet’s HR Advisor, Shaye Kemble (pictured above) and ElectraNet's Graduate Advisory Committee.

ElectraNet’s Graduate Program extends over two to three years. The Program highlights include:

  • Internal rotations tailored to individual interests, to achieve a solid grounding and guidance in a diverse variety of work across the business, with support from ElectraNet Technical Coaches
  • A rotation with an external contractor, with a focus on engineering detailed design work
  • Post-graduate technical study focusing on power engineering – offered by a targeted range of leading-edge service providers in Australia
  • Networking opportunities with industry professionals
  • Allocation of a highly-experienced technical ElectraNet Coach and Mentor
  • Extensive business skills training
  • Exciting and fun team-building and development activities each year
  • Active support of previous and current ElectraNet graduates.

ElectraNet formally seeks graduate applications in March/April each year, for placement the following year. Expressions of interest are advertised via ElectraNet's online application webpage and South Australian universities.

It is recommended that undergraduates interested in applying for ElectraNet's Graduate Program firstly register to undertake Vacation Employment with the company – which provides an insight into the exciting opportunities available to contribute to the economic development of South Australia.
