Once in a blue moon someone gets the opportunity for global exposure and I am considering myself very lucky as ElectraNet has given me an opportunity for the same.
I believe moving to South Australia, particularly to Adelaide, is a great positive change of my life. I found Adelaide is one of the best places to live because of the friendly people, open culture and good infrastructure. It is very easy to get settle down over here. Above all if you have an employer like ElectraNet to hold your hands, it is nothing like that.
ElectraNet is one of the great organizations. Working with ElectraNet is great experience. It has a thousand and one reasons to work with. Some of them are friendly & multicultural work environment, cooperative staff and it is brilliant to work with them.
Settling down in a different country with different culture is not an easy task. But ElectraNet has made it easy for us by providing the relocation agent, who has helped us to search for a house, which I think is the first step of getting settled down. Furthermore, re-imbursement of certain amount of relocation expense, provided by ElectraNet, helped us to get settled in perfectly.
In a nut shell ElectraNet has given me an opportunity to come off with flying colours.

Immigration was a very challenging experience for the whole family. Not being to Australia before the move, we were much exited to the relocation. South Australia is very much similar to South Africa regarding weather and scenery. South Australia and more so Adelaide is a comfortable, safe and relaxed place to live in. The live style is very laid back.
The staff at ElectraNet really did well in welcoming us to Australia. We were welcomed by a Senior Staff member and spouse on a Saturday night at the airport and comforted at a local hotel. The introduction to all staff members was well planned, and most already new of me before my arrival. ElectraNet offers great opportunities and is certainly my employer of choice.
At work I settled in very quickly and a “Buddy” system was in place to ensure that all stays on track. Socially as a family we settled in very well. We have joined a local church and we were accepted as family immediately.
This support system proved to be of great value during the past two years.
