In the Project Management arena, skill and understanding to lead major project developments, manage construction sites on a day to day basis or assist in the area of cost control or administration are all valued.
ElectraNet recognise the importance and scale of the unregulated business growth within our business and have positioned the internal organisation structure accordingly. The Customer Portfolio Group ensures delivery of commercial value projects, to unregulated customers. In addition, the Network Portfolio Group continues to ensure the successful execution of regulated capital projects.
These two portfolio groups offer ElectraNet the opportunity to streamline and target specific skill.
As an engineer working for ElectraNet you would require the skill to design and manage for areas such as (one of) primary plant, protection and control, civil and structural engineering, telecommunications and network planning disciplines. ElectraNet believes strongly in developing graduates.
Each of the roles above are of course supported through each project stage by a dedicated mix including procurement and office based roles such as purchasing, contract development and management, and business systems support and administration.
Our IT (information technology) expertise is outsourced.
Finally, once projects have been commissioned our operations team support and maintain the asset on a daily basis. This pro-active and dedicated team include engineering and non-engineering roles that are operations-based, including operators, analysts and operations support to name a few.

ElectraNet offers a generous performance incentive scheme which is based on both company and individual performance. Bonuses may be earned on an annual basis.
Professional memberships
ElectraNet will reimburse employees for the expense associated with a relevant professional membership each year.
Study assistance
ElectraNet provides financial study assistance toward studies that support business growth and provide individual development in capabilities. The financial assistance comprises up to 100% of direct course fees. Employees may be granted up to five hours paid study leave per week for attendance at approved classes.
Professional development
It is critical to ElectraNet that employees maintain their skills and knowledge in their area of expertise. Therefore ElectraNet extensively supports employees to attend relevant industry conferences and professional development activities.
